International Conference on Indonesian Architecture and Planning (ICIAP) is a conference and field visit program organized once in two years by the Department of Architecture and Planning, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada. This is a conference that gathers academics, researchers, and practitioners from all over the world to share their knowledge and experiences on Indonesian Architecture and Planning ideas. ICIAP has been successfully held 4 times so far. The first ICIAP was held in 2012 with the theme “Better Space Better Living”, in 2014 was “Space for the Next Generation”, in 2016 was “Inclusive Space, Enriching Culture”, in 2018 with “Design and Planning in the Disruptive Era”, the latest was in 2020 with ‘Complexity: Design, Planning, and Innovation’.

ICIAP has successfully presented world-class speakers and around 150 academics and researchers in architecture and planning.
